One Terrific Weekend!

Last Monday, a week ago, Erik decided since he had a credit flight with Delta that he'd come up for the weekend. So late Friday night I zoomed up to the airport to pick up my Husband to be.

I had to work all day on Saturday, so he dropped me off at the store so he could have my car. After a full day of driving around, he ended up back to the store, and all of us kiddo's from the store headed up to Salt Lake to enjoy the fun! So we went to dinner at the Pie, it was Pretty great, the company was the best though! We sat there and goofed off the whole time!!!
Here is us at dinner.

We had SO much fun, and the weekend came to an end way to fast!

Braggin' a bit

So I have to get it out there... My soon to be husband is GREAT! He's competing for Top Apprientace right now. Which is a HUGE title to have. He just had a mid term that was a pass or get kicked out of the program. Lets just say, out of 40 people, 10 got kicked out this week.

I'm happy to report that my future hubby got a 90 on the mid term. Yup, you heard me right, 90! so over all in the class he has a 95%. He felt pretty good about the test. He thought he could do a bit better. But he'll settle with a 95% for the class. So that's I think the news for us so far. :)

Leaving on a Jet Plane!

I had the opportunity last weekend to jump on an airplane and jet to Vegas. It was Erik's Great Grandmothers funeral. She was 95 and was an amazing woman. She was always so sweet to me and so excited to know I was in town. So I arrived in Vegas late Friday night, got up early Saturday and headed to the church to get it all set up and ready. The funeral was shortly after that. It was an amazing service and was well attended. A lot of family was there from across the country to support and uplift. I met a lot of family I hadn't yet been introduced to. It truly was an amazing service.

After the funeral was cleaned up, Erik and I had some time to just be us. We took that time and when bowling, something we haven't done since our first week of dating. So I had to snap a picture to let everyone know that I WON!!!

OK, so really he was just playing around, trying to do tricks, where as I was actually playing. but still, I won! :)

Then later that night we went to dinner with Erik's brother who is just older than him. Scott. Scott is the one we're moving in to his house for a little while until we get settled into married life. Dinner was really nice, and fun, we laughed a lot. It was great getting to know Scott better. He is an amazing man.

Then Sunday Erik and I tried to sleep in, it didn't work too well. So we got up and took the Puppy for a walk. We ended up at his Grandma's House, who we talked to for a few hours, she is a hero of mine. I love Grandma Pink (she used to die her hair red, then it'd fade to pink, hence the name.) We headed back home and watched conference and made food. Lounged around and ate food. Then I had to get all packed and ready to go. :( It was a fun full weekend and I came home exhausted but it was still really nice to see Erik and spend time with him!

I can't wait to marry my best friend in 81 days! Time is flying by and I'm just plugging along getting everything ready. I'm glad we waited the 6 months from when we got engaged. I would be stressing out so much right now, but I'm calm, everything is fine, and slowly but surely we will have an amazing wedding in 81 days!

Thanks to all! I love ya!

A day to enjoy

So I figured it's about time to update a little more on this lovely blog!
The middle of March my work took us all to the military ball! Erik was able to come up and so we had a wonderful day full of time with my family (Neil and Madalyn were driving through on there way to Nebraska) and getting wedding planning taking care of. Then we met the group at Temple Square and ate at the Garden in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. It was a blast and so much fun to run into some old friends and the Ball.

Last week we learned taht Erik's Great-Grandma that was 95 past away. So I'm jumping on a jet tomorrow night to attend her funeral in Vegas this weekend. I'm excited to be running away and seeing the family, but I sure wish I could stay longer!

I think that's all my updates as of now, I'm just pluggin' along, I finished all the wedding announcements last night, Thanks to my mom who was great and helping me finish them by my goal! So next is just... well... I have a little break from planning for a bit, we're at 86 days and counting! :)
